The event was launched by four universities participating in the Startup Ecosystem Tokyo Consortium (Tokyo Institute of Technology, Keio University, Tokyo Medical and Dental University, and the University of Tokyo), and will be held in conjunction with various external partners in the consortium and other platforms to foster and develop a global startup ecosystem in Tokyo and the surrounding region. The Innovation Design Platform (IdP) aims to foster and nurture a global startup ecosystem in Tokyo and other regions. https://score-idp. jp/
The 26 teams selected for the IdP’s “GAP Fund” will come together for a Demo Day to present the results of their efforts to start or commercialize their startups.
In addition to the presentations by the selected teams, there will be a Keynote by Ms. Kathy Matsui, General Partner of MPower Partners, a video message from Mr. Manabu Miyasaka, Vice Governor of Tokyo, and activity reports from each platform.
*This event will be co-hosted with Yokohama Platform, which is co-implementing the GAP FUND.
*This event will be held as part of the SCORE (Science and Technology in Cities for Urban Renaissance) project of the Japan Science and Technology Agency (JST).
