8/5] EDGE-PRIME Initiative: Expansion of Entrepreneurship Education for High School Students - Where to Start? Entrepreneurship Education for High School Students (Symposium on Sharing Advanced National Case Studies and Networking)
GTIE (Greater Tokyo Innovation Ecosystem), which is entrusted with the EDGE PRIME project by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology/JST, plans to hold events for people from all over Japan this summer and winter, respectively. This summer, we will hold a symposium to share advanced examples of entrepreneurship education (keynote speech, panel discussion, poster session, and networking by participants) on Saturday, August 5, 2023 at Waseda University Building No. 121.
The purpose of the symposium is to expand opportunities for entrepreneurship education for high school students and others by sharing knowledge on entrepreneurship education from schools with advanced examples.
The event will include a keynote speech by Mr. Mitsuru Izumo, President of Euglena Co. In addition, there will be networking time for attendees to interact with each other. We will provide an opportunity for schools with unique programs and schools that want to focus on their programs to connect directly with each other.
*Because this will be a hybrid event, those unable to attend on-site can watch online, so please register early.
GTIE, a platform for “fostering university-launched startups that will change the world,” consisting of universities and other institutions mainly in the Tokyo metropolitan area, will promote the expansion of entrepreneurship education to high school students and others in the Tokyo area. Waseda University, University of Tsukuba, Chiba University, Kanagawa University of Health and Welfare, and Shibaura Institute of Technology will develop and operate various programs, disseminate information, and plan and hold events.
