The GTIE Student Training Entrepreneurship Education Program (GTIE-SEP) 2023 Meetup (1st meeting) was held on Saturday, September 30, 2023 at INDEST, Tokyo Tech Tamachi Campus.
Sixteen students from GTIE universities, ranging from first-year university students to first-year doctoral students, participated in the event, and GTIE was joined by Dr. Katagiri and Dr. Sagaku from the Chiba University Startup Lab (https://startup-lab.chiba-u.jp/).
The theme of the meetup was “Team”; among the training programs of GTIE-SEP2023, “Domestic Training (Practical)” and “Silicon Valley Training” require team participation. Pitches were given by five people who are recruiting members for the team-up. After the pitches were over, there was an exchange of opinions and information between the passionate speakers and the participants who eagerly asked questions to the speakers.
GTIE Student Entrepreneurship Education Program (GTIE-SEP) 2023
The GTIE-SEP is an entrepreneurship education program open to students (undergraduate and graduate) from all GTIE participating universities. The program offers three types of training starting in October to students who are interested in entrepreneurship, want to start a business in the future, or want to start a business next year. The goal of the program is to provide a fun and successful entrepreneurship experience for all participants by offering each training and monthly meetups to make new friends who are interested in entrepreneurship.
The next Meetup is scheduled for Saturday, November 11. The theme is “Design. Details of the event will be provided to program participants separately.

(3) Silicon Valley Training
Duration: March 2023 (about 1 week)

(4) Number of teams: Up to 2 teams (up to 2 persons per team)
