The Greater Tokyo Innovation Ecosystem (GTIE) is a platform of 14 universities in the Tokyo metropolitan area that aims to nurture entrepreneurial talent and develop university-launched startups that will change the world.
The GTIE Student Entrepreneurship Program 2023 (GTIE SEP) is an entrepreneurship program for all students from universities participating in GTIE.
In the Silicon Valley training program, students who aim to start or expand their businesses overseas (in the U.S.) brush up their ideas and seeds through exchanges of opinions with local (West Coast) venture capitalists and other parties and through actual proposals. Students are also encouraged to make their own plans for starting a business overseas, and GTIE will help them to realize their plans.
