On Sunday, November 19, 2023, an interim presentation of the Entrepreneurship Experience Program “TOKKA” was held at the IMO Building of Chiba University’s Nishi-Chiba Campus.

The Entrepreneurship Experience Program “TOKKA” is a hands-on educational program that allows high school students enrolled in or residing in Chiba Prefecture to experience starting up a business. The program provides 300,000 yen worth of activity expenses and a place to communicate with working mentors to promote and support the realization of ideas for high school students who want to try “TOKKA” activities, create a “start” that will influence the world, or “TOKKA” in a certain field and realize their own ideas. In this interim presentation, high school students, adult mentors, student supporters, and Startup Lab staff gathered to hear presentations on the progress of the project by high school students. Feedback was also provided by working mentors and student supporters, and a lively discussion was held in preparation for the final presentation on February 18.
We would like to thank all the high school students, student supporters, business mentors, and spectators who participated in the event. We would also like to thank the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology and the Chiba Prefectural Board of Education for their support.
This program is part of the “EDGE-PRIME Initiative,” a JST project to expand entrepreneurship education opportunities for high school students.
