Entry Starts] GTIE Kickoff 2024
GTIE is a platform for university-launched startups and the development of entrepreneurial human resources, aiming to create a startup ecosystem led by 18 universities in Greater Tokyo. GTIE has been selected as a recipient of the Startup Ecosystem Co-creation Program of the Japan Science and Technology Agency (JST) New Industry Creation Fund for University-Launched Businesses, and will carry out various initiatives aimed at forming an ecosystem in which human resources, knowledge, and funds circulate to support the continuous creation of university-launched startups through fiscal 2027.
This event will be attended by various stakeholders who support the ecosystem for the creation of university-launched startups. In the main venue, keynote speeches and sessions on the platform’s efforts to create university-launched startups will be presented, while side events will include the introduction of programs for students on the theme of entrepreneurship education and presentations of student training results, as well as the SMBC With the cooperation of Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation, university startups will make pitches for matching with large and medium-sized companies.
There will also be networking time for participants to interact with each other. We look forward to seeing you there.
