Training for High School Teachers - Entrepreneurship Education for High School Students

Let’s Do It in Inquiry Time! Entrepreneurship Education for High School Students”
Continuing on from last year, the Entrepreneurship Center of Waseda University will host the “Entrepreneurship Education Training for High School Teachers”. This year, we will have Professor Chiharu Fujii of the Faculty of Education and Integrated Arts and Sciences, Waseda University, who is a leading expert on inquiry-based learning, give a lecture titled “Introduction of Entrepreneurship Education in Inquiry-based Learning,” and we will also have Professor Hideyuki Horii, Executive Director of i.school and President of Japan Social Innovation Center (JSIC), as a lecturer. In addition, Mr. Hideyuki Horii, Executive Director of i.school and Representative Director of Japan Social Innovation Center (JSIC), will give a lecture on the introduction of “idea creation” under the theme of regional development.

Do not know how to teach or how to make a teaching plan
Do not have anyone around them whom they can ask about entrepreneurship education

– Target Audience
High school teachers who are interested in introducing entrepreneurship education (related university/junior high school teachers are also welcome to participate)

– Training fee
Free of charge (however, please bear the cost of transportation to and from the venue)

– Purpose of the training
To share case studies for the introduction of entrepreneurship education in high schools
To experience a part of actual entrepreneurship education by themselves
To discuss the possibility of introducing entrepreneurship education in their own schools by referring to actual cases
Deepen exchanges among high schools through the training, and build a network among faculty members who teach entrepreneurship.
