GTIE Student Entrepreneurship Education Program (GTIE-SEP) 2024 Silicon Valley Training
Following last year, the GTIE Entrepreneurship Education Program conducted an overseas training program in March 2025 in the Bay Area, California, which continues to lead the global startup ecosystem.
The three teams of six had the opportunity to interact with a variety of local people based on the business plans of their respective teams. In addition to visiting business-related sites and meeting with local venture capitalists, the teams examined and further refined their business models. On the final day, the students gave a pitch to the general public at the “Japan Innovation Campus,” a Silicon Valley business hub for entrepreneurs and startups organized by the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry of Japan.
The students who participated in the program not only had the opportunity to brush up their business models, but also to learn and gain insights from each other as well as from the wonderful local people they met.
