Tokyo, Japan: Calling for participants for an overseas dispatch program to Slush, one of the largest startup events in Scandinavia!
TIB JAM, a community where students and others gather on a daily basis around Tokyo Innovation Base to inspire each other, has been operated by the Tokyo Metropolitan Government to support students and young people in taking on challenges and encouraging their growth.
TIB JAM will hold an overseas dispatch program for students from November 15 to 23, 2025 (subject to change during the period) in conjunction with Slush, one of the world’s leading start-up events, to be held in Helsinki, Finland. We are looking for students who wish to expand their own future challenges globally by experiencing the forefront of global business and different cultures and interacting with entrepreneurs and investors who are challenging to solve issues on a global scale.
This event will bring together entrepreneurs, investors, politicians, bureaucrats, and think tanks who are trying to change the future by making full use of cutting-edge technology, and through exchanges with Finnish students who have different values from those of Japan, students will have the opportunity to deepen their thinking on “What kind of future do I want to create? What should I do to make the world a brighter place in the future?
1 Main contents of the dispatch program
The following activities will be carried out at TIB JAM.
Participation in Slush, one of the world’s largest start-up events
Visit startups in Finland and participate in workshops
Exchange sessions with local students, entrepreneurs and investors
○ Debriefing session after returning home and sharing learnings in the follow-up program
2 Application Requirements and Selection Process
– Application Requirements: Students (excluding high school students) who are at least 18 years old in principle as of November 2025, who are engaged in activities with a strong desire to improve the future, and who are interested in global-scale issues, global business and technology.
