GTIE SEP 2025 Kickoff was held!
The GTIE Student Entrepreneurship Program (GTIE-SEP) 2025 Kickoff was held on Thursday, August 21, 2025. About 30 students from GTIE participating universities, including the University of Tokyo, Waseda University, Tokyo University of Science, Tokyo University of Agriculture and Technology, Chiba University, Keio University, Shibaura Institute of Technology, and Tokai University, participated in the event, providing an opportunity for exchange across universities, grades, and majors.
At the kick-off, the workshop “Mindset for Entrepreneurship” was conducted by lecturer Takashi Tsutsumi. Although many of the participants showed a high level of interest in entrepreneurship as a way to realize a better society, half of them had never attended an entrepreneurship-related program before, although they were “interested in starting a business” and “want to start a business. The workshop provided participants with the opportunity to experience the joy of thinking and acting on their own, to realize that they could imagine themselves in the future, and to meet new people beyond their university and grade level.
GTIE will continue to offer a series of GTIE SEP 2025 training programs starting in September. We hope you will join us!
