The Greater Tokyo Innovation Ecosystem (GTIE) is a platform for universities and research institutions in the Tokyo metropolitan area that aims to nurture entrepreneurship talent and develop university-launched startups that will change the world.
GTIE SEP2025, a program for students conducted by GTIE, held its third year of The Lean Launchpad (LLP) training. 5 teams participated in a total of 4 training sessions over a period of 4 months from September to December 2025. They learned in a practical way about commercializing product ideas and research results from universities and research institutes by utilizing new business development methods such as the Business Model Canvas and the Customer Development Model. With the support of lecturers and mentors, they also worked on brushing up business ideas based on social issues and pivoting ideas.
The fourth and final session was held on Friday, December 26, 2025, at the “Bethnana” space in the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry (METI). From among the very good proposals of all teams, “SaiGen” was selected as the best team and “CrossDish” as the runner-up.
