The 6th Health and Medical Venture Awards sponsored by Keio University School of Medicine is now accepting business plans!
Keio University School of Medicine holds Japan’s first business contest sponsored by a medical school, “Health and Medical Venture Award” every year.
This year, the 6th edition of the contest, we are again aiming to “nurture” business contests through seminars, mentoring, and judging by invited medical and business experts from inside and outside Keio University.
Past participants have subsequently achieved various track records, such as raising funds, starting joint research with Keio Hospital, and obtaining medical device approvals.
The winning team in the working division will receive 1 million yen, the winning team in the student division will receive 300,000 yen in prize money, and several more luxurious corporate prizes will be offered.
In order to prevent the spread of the novel coronavirus infection, this contest will be held entirely online, with the exception of the finals (held at the Nihonbashi Life Science Hub). Each year we have participants from various backgrounds. We would be very happy to hear from anyone who is interested in participating.
