TMU has begun accepting applications for a total of ten (10) incubation rooms in the first phase of its Incubation Rooms in Building No. 6 on the Hino Campus of Tokyo Metropolitan University.
In October 2023, Tokyo Metropolitan University will open the “TMU Innovation Hub,” a space for industry-academia-government collaboration, in the new engineering building of the Hino Campus.
This space will be used as a base for creating startups and supporting university-launched startups by utilizing the university’s research results and resources such as the Center for the Common Use of Research Equipment.
Furthermore, we will promote innovation creation and contribute to the promotion of the Tama region by building a startup ecosystem in collaboration with various organizations in the Tama region, including universities, research institutes, local governments, financial institutions, and businesses.
From June 15, we will announce the outline of each facility and begin accepting applications for tenants of the “Incubation Rooms,” which are intended for people who wish to start a business, R&D-oriented venture companies that have just started up, and companies that conduct joint research with Tama University faculty. Please refer to the application guidelines for facility details and application details.
