In the past few years, it has been said that the cross-border transition between “regions” where start-ups are born and “industries” where these companies are active has accelerated even further.
Companies born around the world tend to make contact with Silicon Valley in the process of aiming for one of the world’s largest markets, the U.S. This is because Silicon Valley has come to play a role not only as an incubator for startups, but also as an inflection point for their expansion. He said.
Mr. Komuro has been posted to Silicon Valley twice since 2016, and continues to support business collaboration with global startups there. He has been involved with many startups in Silicon Valley, so he has a unique perspective.
