Researcher Pitch@CIC + GAP Fund Information Session
CIC Tokyo, one of the largest innovation centers in Japan, and the Innovation Design Platform (IdP; a joint startup creation platform of Tokyo Institute of Technology, Keio University, Tokyo Medical and Dental University, and the University of Tokyo), which opened on October 1, 2020, will jointly host a researcher The event will include a pitch event by researchers and an information session on the GAP Fund.
This pitch event is open to researchers who belong to the participating institutions of the IdP or the Yokohama Platform that collaborates with the IdP. Researchers are welcome to speak at this event, even if they have not yet established a company or are still in the idea stage. Please present the technology you have, even if it is in the atmosphere of a research presentation.
Any researcher who aims to create a start-up or to commercialize the results of his/her research and development is welcome to participate, so please apply to be a speaker. There will also be commentators who have experience in investing in and nurturing startups, so this will be a good opportunity to receive feedback. We hope you will use this opportunity to get feedback, refine your business plan, and prepare your application for the GAP Fund.
