Biodesign is a human resource development program started at Stanford University to explore the needs of the medical field and to create startups by involving doctors, engineers, and others in the exploration of medical development. In Japan, the government has provided funding for this program, and it has been held at the University of Tokyo, Osaka University, Tohoku University, and other universities.
The Biodesign Workshop at Keio will be held in collaboration with the University of Tokyo Biodesign, aiming at collaboration, human resource development, and commercialization across universities and faculties such as medicine, engineering, life sciences, and business.
We hope that physicians, researchers, and students who are interested in solving problems in clinical practice, utilizing research results, and learning design thinking will join us. The morning session will be a public lecture, and the afternoon workshop will be limited to 30 people who wish to attend. The afternoon workshop is also open to the public.
