Todai GTIE Entrepreneurship Training 2025 1st Phase Call for Participants


We are pleased to announce the University of Tokyo GTIE Entrepreneurship Training 2025 1st Phase.
Faculty members and graduate students with technology seeds who are interested in entrepreneurship and GAP fund acquisition are invited to participate. We also welcome participation from joint institutions.

Features of the Todai GTIE Program:
The program consists of four phases over the course of one year, in which participants will create and verify business plans based on their research results, and will include training in the U.S. in February next year.
The first phase, which will begin on April 11, will lead to the adoption of various GAP funds, etc. by the following means.
Learn how to develop a business plan from technology seeds
How to utilize your research results (technology) to solve problems
Potential customers and the problems they are facing
Product specifications (products or services) to solve customer problems
– The size and growth potential of the expected market and the products (competitive advantages) that will meet the requirements of the market The size and growth of the expected market and the products that satisfy those requirements (product specifications with competitive advantages, sales methods, prices, and sales)
– All participants will enhance each other through discussions
– Individual consultations (mentoring) will also be provided.

1st Phase Date: 4/11 4/14 4/25 5/16 5/23 6/6 6/13 6/27 18:00-19:30 Online via Zoom
In the 2nd Phase on July 12 (on-site), business plan presentation and matching with management personnel will be conducted.

Eligibility:
Researchers (graduate students and above, faculty members, etc.) from universities and research institutes: No participation fee
R&D personnel from companies (need to bring technology that will be a pillar of their business) and business developers (with business experience): Participation fee is charged
Those who have technology seeds are eligible. Teams are encouraged to participate.
