We are pleased to announce the University of Tokyo GTIE Education Program 2025 3rd Phase. We especially invite faculty members and graduate students who are interested in entrepreneurship and GAP fund acquisition based on technology seeds to participate in this program. We also welcome participation from joint institutions.
Features of the Todai GTIE Program:
The program consists of 4 phases, in which business plans will be developed and verified based on research results, and training in the U.S. will be conducted in February next year.
The features of the 3rd Phase, which begins in August, are as follows Business plans will be drafted and brushed up.
Hypothesis testing through customer interviews
Developing intellectual property strategy, market development strategy, and financial plan
Business support with a professional mentor.
E-learning and online group training will be used to enhance the business plan through discussion among all participants.
Teams selected for the final presentation (in English) in the 3rd Phase will participate in the 4th Phase training in the U.S. (scheduled for Feb. 17-20).
Dates: Group training August 22, September 5, September 12, September 26, October 3, October 17, October 24, November 7
6:00 p.m. – 7:30 p.m. (conducted online) and
Saturday, November 22, AM Final presentation in English (conducted online)
Eligibility:
Researchers (graduate students, faculty members, etc.) from universities and research institutes: No registration fee
Corporate R&D personnel (with technologies that will be the pillars of their businesses) and business developers (with experience in business): Fee is required.
