WISER GAP Fund FY2025 Selectees Announced

After a rigorous review process, WISER (Women In Science Excellence and Revolution) has selected 10 applications out of a total of 30 for the GAP Fund for FY2025. This year, applications were received from 23 universities and 4 companies in Japan and abroad, as well as from young female researchers from diverse backgrounds who belong to organizations other than universities and companies (including individuals), and represented challenging seeds across a wide range of fields.

The recipients of the GAP Fund were selected from seeds spanning a variety of cutting-edge fields, including applied microbiology x food science, pharmacology, rehabilitation science and welfare engineering, civil engineering materials, construction and construction management, polymers and fiber materials, applied optics, perceptual information processing x welfare engineering, medical systems, human pathology x medical systems The seeds were selected from a wide variety of cutting-edge fields, such as human pathology x medical systems. All are challenging achievements that transcend academic boundaries to solve social issues and create new industries, and are expected to be the seeds of technologies that will pave the way to the future.
