For the expansion of global startup ecosystems based on universities in Tokyo
Hosted by the University of Tokyo, the Tokyo Institute of Technology, Waseda University and other organizations, the Greater Tokyo Innovation Ecosystem (GTIE) platform is operated through the participation of the Tokyo Metropolitan Government as the managing local government in cooperation with a joint organization composed of 14 universities and supporting agencies for university-originated startups, and cooperative organizations composed of universities, other local governments, and private companies. In cooperation with a wide range of cooperative organizations and other platforms in the consortium, we aim to cultivate and develop global startup ecosystems in Tokyo.
