GTIE SEP 2025 Lean Launchpad Training has started!

GTIE (Greater Tokyo Innovation Ecosystem, GTIE) held a Lean Launchpad (LLP) training on September 18 to develop entrepreneurial talent.

The Lean Launchpad training is a method for nurturing new businesses and entrepreneurs proposed by Steve Blank, a serial entrepreneur in Silicon Valley, USA. It aims to accelerate businesses through a simplified process in which startups with limited resources can quickly verify their business hypotheses.

This year again, 15 students in 7 teams from 6 universities in the Tokyo metropolitan area participated in the workshop, with Takashi Tsutsumi as the lecturer. In the workshop, participants interested in social issues and entrepreneurship analyzed the current situation and customers with respect to their respective issues, and worked to create a hypothesis that would lead to a business.

GTIE is a platform for 18 universities and research institutions in the Tokyo metropolitan area that aims to nurture entrepreneurial human resources and develop university-based startups that can change the world. It is conducted under the GTIE Student Entrepreneurship Program 2025 (GTIE SEP2025).
