Entrepreneurship Seminar for GTIE Researchers and Graduate Students

-I” as a party to solving social problems – “I” as a party to solving social problems

[ PROGRAM ]

The world is facing numerous major challenges. Japan is one of the world’s most advanced countries in terms of issues, having entered an aging society with an unprecedentedly low birthrate and declining population, but at the same time, Japan has great potential to transform itself into an advanced problem-solving nation. Under these circumstances, there are growing expectations for university-launched startups based on advanced research results from universities to play a leading role in solving social issues. As the career paths of researchers, including university faculty, post-doctoral fellows, and even graduate students, are diversifying, how can researchers face the social challenges that lie ahead in the world, as indicated by the SDGs? We sincerely hope that this seminar will provide you with an opportunity to imagine yourself as a participant in solving social issues.
