Call for students to participate in the 2023 Toyama Prefecture New Business Creation Program

This is a workshop-type program in which business people and students from Toyama Prefecture, which is one of the easiest places in Japan to work and live, work together to create new businesses.
This year’s program, the sixth since its inception in 2018, will be held under the theme of “Innovation of Future Society by Startups of Students and Toyama Prefecture Corporate Employees,” with mixed teams of corporate participants and students (about 5 people per team), aiming to create ideas that can contribute to regional innovation and new business creation within companies in Toyama Prefecture. The aim is to create ideas that can contribute to regional innovation and the creation of new businesses within companies in Toyama Prefecture.
Undergraduate and graduate students (master’s and doctoral students) enrolled at the University of Tokyo, Tokyo Institute of Technology, Tama Art University, Waseda University, and other universities in Toyama Prefecture are eligible to participate. We look forward to your participation.

*Any field of study is acceptable.
*International students are welcome (Japanese language proficiency required).
*Only those who are able to participate in all days will be accepted .
-Participation fee:
Transportation (Shinkansen), local accommodation, and program participation fees are free.

August 28 (Monday) – August 30 (Wednesday), 2023
*You will be required to move to Toyama Prefecture during Sunday, August 27 and stay overnight before the program.
*The program will be held in Toyama Prefecture during August 27 (Sun.), and participants will stay overnight in Toyama Prefecture.
