The Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology (MEXT) has launched the “EDGE-PRIME Initiative” to expand the scope of entrepreneurship education and is working to expand entrepreneurship education opportunities for high school students.
In this context, the Greater Tokyo Innovation Ecosystem (GTIE), a platform for “fostering university-launched startups that will change the world” consisting of universities and other organizations mainly in the Tokyo metropolitan area, is promoting the expansion of the base of entrepreneurship education for high school students in the Tokyo area.
