[Organized by TIB JAM] Call for Student Participants for Reiwa 8 Overseas and Domestic Missions
TIB JAM is seeking mission-driven challengers who will shape the future of the startup ecosystem.
This is a two-month hands-on project in which 20 selected students will gain a structural understanding of startup ecosystems at two locations—one overseas and one in Japan—and apply that knowledge to tackle specific challenges in Japan.
Germany and France—even within Europe, differences in history, culture, and industrial structure mean that startup ecosystems are built in entirely different ways. This overseas dispatch project involves traveling between these two countries to gain firsthand understanding of global startup ecosystems, and then returning to Japan to tackle specific challenges within the Japanese startup ecosystem through concrete projects.
At the same time, alongside the 10 participants traveling abroad, this project will select 10 members for a domestic mission team who will conduct in-depth, structural research on Japan’s startup ecosystem from the inside and launch and drive their own projects. A total of 20 participants will contribute to Tokyo’s startup ecosystem from their respective locations, both domestically and abroad.
