Taking place on Sunday, August 2! 71 Tokyo-based startups will gather! Now accepting student applications for the “Startup Internship Festival 2026”
The Tokyo Metropolitan Government will host the “Startup Internship Festival 2026” for students interested in internships and careers at startups, on Sunday, August 2, Reiwa 8, the “Startup Internship Festival 2026” will be held at Tokyo Innovation Base.
This event will bring together 70 Tokyo-based startups seeking student interns.
In addition to company booths where attendees can speak directly with representatives and executives, the venue will feature a variety of programs, including talk sessions, workshops, and company pitches designed to deepen understanding of what it’s like to work at a startup.
This event is open not only to those actively considering a startup internship but also to anyone who wants to “learn more about what startups are like,” “broaden their future career options,” or “try something new.”
Your year of study, college, or major—as well as your knowledge or experience with startups—does not matter. This is a valuable opportunity to meet startups from a wide range of industries and job types all at once and learn firsthand about their corporate culture, job responsibilities, and work styles.
