[Tokyo] We're hosting the IDEA FLASH Session "Japan to Global" for students on September 5!
The Tokyo Metropolitan Government is hosting “IDEA FLASH Session #2: ‘Japan to Global’,” an event designed for students who are interested in overseas and global opportunities but aren’t sure where to start. The event offers participants the chance to meet entrepreneurs who are leveraging uniquely Japanese strengths to take on the world, as well as opportunities to generate practical ideas.
This program allows participants to explore the real-world experiences and mindsets of entrepreneurs who are expanding overseas by leveraging Japan’s strengths in entertainment, intellectual property, food, and culture, while helping them take the first step toward turning their own interests and ideas into global ventures.
Leading entrepreneurs will share why they set their sights on the global stage and how they identified opportunities, while participants will also take on the challenge of generating ideas under the theme “Bringing Japan’s [X] to the World.” Additionally, the second half of the event will feature an ideation session and a student networking event. We provide opportunities for participants to connect with peers of the same generation and others interested in entrepreneurship, studying abroad, and global careers. Our goal is not only to provide learning opportunities but also to serve as a catalyst for participants to reflect on their own future challenges and careers. Taking on the world isn’t limited to studying abroad or finding a job. Why not take the first step toward shaping your own ideas and envisioning the future from a global perspective?
