GTIE (Greater Tokyo Innovation Ecosystem)—a platform composed of universities and other institutions primarily in the Greater Tokyo Area dedicated to “fostering university-based startups that change the world”—serves as has been working to expand the reach of entrepreneurship education for elementary, middle, and high school students in the Greater Tokyo Area by providing practical opportunities for them to take the initiative and “give things a try.” This effort is carried out through collaboration among GTIE member universities, tailored to each educational level. Following the results presentation sessions organized by Waseda University in fiscal year 2023, Shibaura Institute of Technology in fiscal year 2024, and the University of Tsukuba in fiscal year 2025 as coordinating institutions, Chiba University will serve as the organizing institution this fiscal year and will host the “Junior and Senior High School Students Give It a Try! Entrepreneurship Program Results Presentation.” We are pleased to announce an idea contest featuring junior high and high school students who participated in the Entrepreneurship Program at various locations this fiscal year.
