GTIE is currently recruiting participants for the “Industry-Government-Academia Collaborative Entrepreneurship Talent Development Program” to be held at Tokyo University of Agriculture and Technology!
We look forward to receiving applications from college students (including students at National Institutes of Technology), graduate students, and young professionals interested in entrepreneurship and entrepreneurship education!
• Significance and Objectives [ Vision ] With university-developed technologies at the core, industry, government, and academia will unite to tackle social challenges [ Objective ] To deepen the connection between learning and the real world, and to aim for sustainable talent development and the formation of a commercialization ecosystem through the synergy of talent, technology, and organizations across the entire region
• Features・Intergenerational, mixed teams of young professionals from industry, government, and academia: Young professionals from companies and local governments participate as key players alongside students・Convergence of Perspectives: A multifaceted approach combining the government’s perspective on social issues, the corporate sector’s market perspective, and the university’s research insights・Technology Validation: Young researchers and others are appointed as technical advisors to facilitate the identification of additional technologies and technological integration necessary for commercialization
*Recommended for* ・Those interested in launching new businesses and implementing solutions in society using university technology seeds (such as entomophagy and brainwave technology)・Those who wish to meet peers from “student, corporate, and local government” backgrounds and tackle social issues from diverse perspectives・Young professionals who wish to acquire entrepreneurial spirit and commercialization know-how through cross-organizational collaboration that transcends the boundaries of their own companies or local governments・Students and young professionals who wish to hone their skills in applying what they’ve learned at university and their ideas to the real world, and expand their high-quality networks beyond their companies and universities

[ Target Audience and Number of Participants ] ・Undergraduate students (including students at National Colleges of Technology), graduate students, and young professionals (those interested in commercializing research findings, solving social issues, bringing ideas to life, entrepreneurship education, and industry-government-academia collaboration) ・Approximately 15 participants
[ Technological Seeds to Be Covered in This Program ] At this time, we plan to cover technological seeds related to entomophagy, the American soldier fly, and brainwave technology.

[ Instructors ]

Representative Director of Mirai Relations Co., Ltd.He also serves as Representative Director of the Transition Ecosystem General Incorporated Association—co-founded with Tokyo University of Science—and as a Director of Mirai Sōzō Investments, Inc., which operates a venture capital fund affiliated with Tokyo University of Science. With a focus on transition design, he actively drives the commercialization of university-developed technologies and the creation of new markets through open and closed strategies.
He will be delivering a lecture titled “Defining the Playing Field to Create Markets and Taking the Initiative: Problem Definition and Mindset” during Group Training Session 1 (Saturday, January 16, 2027)!

After graduating from the Faculty of Science and Engineering at Waseda University, he joined IBM Japan. There, he was involved in the research and development of hard disk drives (HDDs), which was a new internal business initiative at the time. As a member of an internal venture, he was responsible for technology development and project management. He later served as an executive at a consulting firm before co-founding INDEE Japan. The company provides pre-launch support, investment, and business development assistance, with a focus on deep tech.
He will be leading a lecture on “Commercializing Technology” during In-Person Training Session 2 (Saturday, January 30, 2027)!

Graduated from the Faculty of Economics at Doshisha University and earned an MBA from the F. W. Olin Graduate School of Business at Babson College. After graduating from university, he worked at an IT company affiliated with a manufacturing firm, where he was primarily engaged in account sales for the media industry and projects to launch cloud services related to video transmission.After completing his MBA abroad, he joined the Human Resources Development and Organizational Development Consulting Division at Globis Corporation. While working on developing the next generation of executives for large corporations and organizational development for startups, he also developed content and educational materials for the entrepreneurship field. He subsequently assumed his current position. He is a founding member of “Binnovative,” a Boston-based nonprofit organization.
He will be leading a lecture on pitching during Group Training Session 3 (Saturday, February 13, 2027)!
