[Information Session on November 20!] High School Mock International Conference (February 20–21, 2027)

GTIE has begun accepting applications from first- and second-year high school students to participate in the “High School Model United Nations Conference,” scheduled for February 20–21, 2027.

We will hold an information session on November 20, so if you’re even slightly interested, please attend and consider applying!

This two-day, one-night participatory program will bring together approximately 30 high school students selected from across the country to serve as representatives of various nations and tackle the challenge of “decarbonization” from the dual perspectives of cutting-edge science and technology and the international community.

This is a valuable experience that transcends the boundaries between the humanities and sciences, where participants will research the economies and CO₂ emissions of their assigned countries and engage in serious negotiations aimed at reaching a global consensus. Why not tackle questions with no single “right” answer alongside your peers and get a taste of what real university-level learning is like?
