Overview
Overviewの画像

With the fear of congestion created by covid19, the government and railroad companies are working on measures to reduce train congestion. Railroad companies have implemented initiatives such as congestion information on apps and points offering for off-peak commuting, but only some passengers are using them.
This research will use IoT devices to visualize train congestion in real time and provide information so that users can make their own choices to avoid congestion. In addition, we also address revitalization of the areas along the train line by the creation of new mobility. The goal is to realize a free transportation society in the future.

Business Models(when applying)

The business model will be a multi-side platform model to increase the revenue and shift away from a product model.
Actors will be us, railroads, passengers, local stores, etc.

Activity Planning(when applying)
Activity Planning(when applying)の画像

There are two research activity plans.
The first is the development of new congestion visualization techniques. The analyzers for the visualization will be developed for a variety of situations.
The second is a demonstration experiment to accelerate passenger behavioral transformation through incentives for passengers. The experiment will lead to the realization of a free transportation society.
