Debriefing on the 2nd phase of the GTIE Education Program at the University of Tokyo

On June 17, a debriefing session for the 2nd phase of the University of Tokyo GTIE Education Program was held at the University of Tokyo Hongo Campus Industry-Academia Collaboration Plaza.

Seven of the 13 teams that participated in the 1st phase, which started in April, advanced to the 2nd phase, where they presented their hypothesized business plans that would have an impact in solving social issues based on their own research results. In September, we plan to start the 3rd phase for researchers to further brush up their business plans.

We are looking forward to receiving applications from researchers who are aiming for GAP Fund adoption in the future.

[Contents ] After the completion of the 1st phase, which started in April, a debriefing session will be held with the following objectives.

[Purpose ] To develop and present business plans that will have an impact on solving social issues based on the results of their research, and for teams applying for the GAP Fund, to lead to the fund’s adoption.

[Participating Teams ] 7 teams out of 13 teams in the 1st phase reported their results.

[Future plans ] 3rd phase for researchers to further brush up their business plans will start in September.
