[Tokyo] “Want to Change Society While Learning?” We’re Calling for Middle and High School Students! We’re Launching a Practical Entrepreneurship Program for Middle and High School Students!

The Tokyo Metropolitan Government is launching a new initiative called the “Junior and Senior High School Student Entrepreneurship Program,” in which students plan and carry out projects on their own to spread the appeal of taking on challenges among their peers. We are pleased to announce that we are now recruiting “junior and senior high school student members” for this program, who will learn through various programs while planning and carrying out their own projects.

1. About the Junior and Senior High School Student Entrepreneurship Practice Program(1) Project Overview

Junior high and high school students will take the lead in planning and managing programs, creating a cycle in which their peers develop an interest in various challenges—such as solving social issues and starting businesses—acquire the necessary skills to address them, and put those skills into practice. Please visit the project website here.

(2) Program Details

Using Tokyo Innovation Base as a venue, the “junior and senior high school student members”—who serve as the core of this initiative—will plan and carry out the following activities:

  • • Planning and managing events such as idea pitches by participating junior and senior high school students at the “SusHi Tech Tokyo 2027 Public Day” (*)
  • • Activities aimed at fostering a culture of entrepreneurship at TIB (scheduled to run from November Reiwa 8 to May Reiwa 9)
