On Saturday, July 25, 2026, we held “GTIE-SEP 2026 #2” at Tokyo Innovation Base (TiB). Through needs-based idea-generation workshops and alumni talks, participating students learned about entrepreneurship and solving social issues while deepening connections that transcended university boundaries.
Participating students commented:
・“I was able to gain new perspectives and inspiration through interacting with a diverse group of participants.”
• They were able to gain practical experience in the approach of identifying challenges and generating ideas based on user needs
・I gained a deeper understanding of idea-generation frameworks and approaches to commercialization
・I gained a lot of insight and inspiration from the experiences shared by senior students
・I met like-minded peers, which boosted my motivation for future activities
・Participants shared feedback that the program provided a fulfilling learning experience through teamwork that transcended academic year and university boundaries
These were among the comments received.

At the venue, it was evident that participants not only learned the fundamental entrepreneurial concept of “thinking from the needs of the customer,” but were also greatly inspired by interacting with a diverse group of peers and hearing the experiences of a senior entrepreneur (Mr. Yamada, CEO of Kotoba Samurai Co., Ltd. and a senior at Waseda University) who emerged from the GTIE LLP training program. In particular, a major achievement was the acquisition of new perspectives and ideas through dialogue among students with different fields of study and backgrounds.
GTIE will continue to implement various programs designed to foster student entrepreneurship and support students as they take their first steps toward commercializing their ideas.
