Kick-off Event for "TOKKA" Entrepreneurship Experience Program Chiba University Startup Lab

The Entrepreneurship Experience Program “TOKKA” kick-off event was held on Friday, August 4, 2023 at Perrier Hall, Chiba Station!

The Entrepreneurship Experience Program “TOKKA” is a hands-on educational program that allows high school students enrolled in or residing in Chiba Prefecture to experience starting up a business. The program provides 300,000 yen worth of activity expenses and a place to communicate with working mentors to promote and support the realization of ideas for high school students who want to try “TOKKA” activities, create a “start” that will influence the world, or “TOKKA” in a certain field and realize their own ideas. The kick-off event brought together the adopted participants, business mentors, student supporters, Startup Lab staff, GTIE officials, and Chiba Prefecture education officials. The event started with an introduction of the adopted project themes, followed by heated discussions on business plans with the mentors and student supporters.

Chiba University will continue to promote entrepreneurship education for high school students and younger!
